Sol Amparo Evans, LPC
Greetings! I am Sol Amparo Evans, founder of Mind, Body, & Sol Counseling and Consultations (MBS). I am a licensed professional counselor of mental health. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently licensed as a professional counselor in Delaware and Pennsylvania. I am also a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. My experience as a therapist covers 10 years of working with children, adolescents, women, families, and couples. I certified in EMDR, trauma informed care, CBT, and utilize Biblical principals in my work with clients.
I enjoy working with women. I specialize in working with women issues, relationship conflict, anxiety, trauma, esteem, and self-exploration. I help women to make meaningful changes in their lives. You're smart, but you feel stuck. I will help you get unstuck and make choices to regain your happiness and feel more in control. Jihan Owens-Tyler, DMFT
Jihan Owens-Tyler is a psychotherapist with over ten years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and minor in Ethnic Studies from Shippensburg University, and her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling and Psychology with a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College. Jihan is currently enrolled in Drexel University’s Doctorate of Couple and Family Therapy program. Jihan has worked with various populations ranging in age, mental health diagnoses, and levels of care. She has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure CBT, structural family therapy, emotion focused family therapy, trauma-informed care and psychoanalytic therapies. Jihan has extensive experience working with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, stress, familial conflicts, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, family of origin and coming of age issues. Jihan’s passion and mission has always been to support and uplift people of color and marginalized individuals. The underrepresentation of BIPOC clinicians has made this work imperative to her and for her community. Jihan has always been motivated to help others during their time of need and is excited to become a part of the Mind, Body & Sol practice and assist clients

Family and Marriage Therapist
Karen Riera-Seda, MS

Karen Rivera-Seda is a Jamaican-American psychotherapist who received her Master's in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University. Karen provides therapy services to teens (14+) and adults in the format of individual therapy, couples therapy and TF-CBT. Karen is passionate about working with individuals who have or are currently experiencing difficulties stemming from being Caribbean-American/Caribbean Immigrant. Karen's other areas of specialty include anxiety, grief, coming of age, self-care/boundaries setting, pre-marital/pre-engagement, and navigating life transitions. Karen's approach to therapy mainly utilizes techniques from Structural Therapy, CBT and Narrative Therapy. Karen's work with clients always involves a review of ecosystemic influences (e.g. family, school/work, culture, friends, interests) as she understands that every individual possesses unique experiences which therefore can affect their individual start point in therapy as well as the way in which their area(s) of need may present. Karen strives to provide a collaborative partnership with each client, where each can feels heard, feel safe and feel empowered to become the agents of change in their lives. Shannon Vigil is a pre-licensed Latina therapist working towards her LPCMH. Shannon attended New Mexico Highlands University from 2012 to 2019. She has a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Shannon is committed to helping clients improve their overall wellbeing. Shannon has a humanistic and person-centered approach. Her clinical work focuses on targeting negative thoughts, negative self-image, and maladaptive behaviors. Shannon believes in a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their full potential. Shannon has an eclectic clinical approach utilizing techniques from CBT, DBT, psychoanalysis, and mindfulness. Shannon has worked with an array of ages including adolescents, teens, young adults, and the elderly. Shannon has worked with marginalized groups such as the Native Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, and African Americans. Shannon has experience providing treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, men’s issues, women’s issues, and relationship conflict.
